WHY IS SOMEONE WITH SUCH SIGNIFICANT HEALTH CHALLENGES RUNNING FOR RE-ELECTION?

Sheriff Ric Bradshaw is SERIOUSLY ILL and is no longer “FIT TO SERVE”. His health is deteriorating by the day.
Bradshaw had two separate heart surgeries in early 2022 which sidelined him for months. He has never fully recovered.
As a result, Bradshaw now wears a mechanical, external, battery-operated Left Ventricle Assist Device (LVAD) to keep his heart pumping properly. (pictured below)

A LVAD is the last option before heart transplant surgery. Bradshaw is on the heart transplant list.
Additionally, Bradshaw has been diagnosed with Chronic Renal Failure and is on Kidney Dialysis.
Bradshaw can barely stand for more than a few minutes at a time. He is frequently out-of-breath (Mouth Breathing for air), and extremely limited in his activities.
Recently, Bradshaw collapsed while shopping at Publix. He was confused and taken to the hospital by ambulance where he stayed for several days.
Bradshaw’s staff is going to great lengths to cover this all up and keep it from the public.

Bradshaw has served 5 terms and nearly 20 years in office. It’s time for some fresh ideas and innovative approaches to fighting crime.
It’s time to Retire Ric! Before he loses his dignity. He’s NOT “FIT TO SERVE”.

The Sheriff’s Office budget is out-of-control, nearly doubling in the past ten years. Next year’s budget is already forecast to be almost $1 BILLION dollars – YOUR taxpayer dollars!
It would be even higher, but Bradshaw has not purchased new police vehicles for deputies in years.
Much of that increase has been going toward lavish off-site office spaces, luxury vehicles for executives, and unjustifiable raises and promotions.
Just one of the off-site luxury office spaces Bradshaw is currently renting, The Forum Club, is costing taxpayers almost $70,000 per month.
Bradshaw’s top officers have all been rewarded with brand-new, take-home, top-of-the-line GMC Denali SUV’s. These luxury vehicles cost taxpayers between $80,000 and $100,000 EACH.
The salary and benefits package for the new Chief Operating Officer of the Sheriff’s office is over $712,000 per year.
Spending is out of control!!!

In recent years, Bradshaw has closed some of the most successful and beloved departments and units in the Sheriff’s Office – reducing services while increasing the budget.

Every time he brags on the programs I started and ran. Be sure to ask him, “Why’d you shut them down, Ric?”

They attacked me as a “Social Worker” during the primaries. Now, Ric wants to act as if he’s me.

Ask Ric, “If you’re so proud of these programs. Why’d you close the [insert program here]?”

Palm Beach County deserves a Sheriff who will get the budget under control and reopen those units that were key to reducing crime.
